Marc Peverett 

 

Marc Peverett is a seasoned industrial-organisational psychologist with over 27 years of experience. He obtained his postgraduate psychology degree with distinction from the University of the Witwatersrand.

He is a Rule 41a accredited mediator in association with Conflict Dynamics, Alternate Dispute Resolution Group, and Mediation Pan African.

He is also registered as a mediator with the South African Medico-Legal Association (SAMLA) and the Family Life Centre of South Africa (FAMSA).

 

Experience

Marc Peverett’s mediation practice focuses on all Rule 41a matters. These include Road Accident Fund (RAF) cases, divorce and family disputes, workplace conflicts, medical negligence disputes, and commercial conflicts. His style is facilitative, drawing on both his clinical and organisational experience to guide parties through complex emotional terrain and legal considerations.

His career has included extensive work in organisational development, employee assessment, and workplace conflict across a range of industries. He has held multiple consultancy and practitioner roles where his understanding of human behaviour and group dynamics has been applied in both corporate and clinical contexts. He has worked as a Vocational Expert and has been called on to testify in the High Court for over 25 years.

In 2016, Marc expanded his practice to include mediation, where he has worked extensively in matters relating to the Road Accident Fund, workplace conflict, divorce and family disputes, commercial disagreements, and cases involving police conduct.

His work in the South African Medico-Legal Association (SAMLA) - Road Accident Fund (RAF) Mediation Pilot Project demonstrated success in complex settings involving injured claimants, attorneys, and fund representatives.
