About Jané Nash

Jané Nash is a Alberton-based mediator with a multidisciplinary background spanning mediation, arts/drama therapy, psychological counselling, education, administration, and digital strategy. Her work is grounded in strong interpersonal insight, trauma-informed communication, and practical experience supporting individuals, professionals, and organisations in complex environments.
Jané Nash holds Family Law Mediation Accreditation and Civil & Commercial Mediator Accreditation. She also holds a Master of Arts in Drama Therapy from the University of the Witwatersrand, a BA Honours in Drama Therapy, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychological Counselling. This combination of mediation and therapeutic training gives her a thoughtful, people-centred approach to conflict engagement, communication, and facilitated resolution.
Her professional experience includes work in medico-legal administration, mediation coordination, training support, human resources, public relations, and organisational management. She served as Practice Manager at Edeling Medico Legal Consultancy Trust, where she coordinated mediation processes for the RAF Medico-Legal Pilot Project and Gauteng Department of Health Mediation Pilot Proejct, managed complex administration, liaised with legal and medical professionals, and supported the preparation of medico-legal evidence. She is currently a director at Mediation Pan African.
Jané Nash also brings substantial teaching and therapeutic experience to her mediation work. In her practice as an Arts Therapist (Drama Therapy) she works with children, teenagers, and adults, and has taught in both academic and private training environments. Her background includes facilitation, psycho-educational support, English & Drama teaching, guest lecturing, and creative therapeutic practice.
