Seyffert Strydom (BA Law, LLB) is a Director at Strydom Bester Inc. and an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa (admitted 1 July 1990), with 36 years’ experience in practice and the firm’s senior partner for the past 20 years. He heads a specialist High Court litigation practice focused on defending medico-legal matters for insurers and municipalities, including complex claims involving brain injury, cerebral palsy, spinal injuries and orthopaedic injuries. His work is highly collaborative and evidence-driven, requiring close engagement with multi-disciplinary medico-legal experts such as neurologists, neurosurgeons, neonatologists, obstetricians, orthopaedic surgeons, industrial psychologists, occupational therapists and actuaries.
