Mediation Theatre : Medical Mediation Roleplay & Workshop 18 October 2025
Overview
Join us for a live, online, practice-first, six-hour event where you’ll observe a full medical negligence mediation role play, followed by expert presentations, a combined plenary discussion with a practical task, and Q&A. Experience real-time strategies, caucus management, ethical decision points, and the documentation requirements and reaching settlement (full or partial), drafting a settlement agreement and enforcability of a settlement agreement —then unpack the reasoning with our presenters.
Presenters
- Dr. Herman Edeling, Mediation Coach – Senior mediator and medico-legal expert coaching practitioners across RAF, other personal injury, clinical negligence, and mental capacity. with a focus on ethical, interest-based negotiation.
- Adv. Doris Goodenough – Advocate and practicing mediator with specialist experience in civil matters, family law and negotiation dynamics.
- Charlene Labuschagne, Executive Director, Mediation Pan African – Experienced mediator and trainer leading civil mediation development and standards.
